Say hello to Bianca - A Block-print with a botanical soul

We’re so excited to introduce you to Bianca, a soft, flowing botanical block print that’s become a fast favorite around here.

It comes in three beautiful colorways: Spice, Aqua and Meadow (as shown above - from left to right). Each one brings something a little different to the table, but they all share the same easy charm.

Bianca was inspired by the tiny, detailed botanical motifs found in Indian miniature paintings, especially those delicate little tree canopies that show up in the background. We loved them so much, we decided to enlarge those shapes and let them take center stage. The result is something that feels both organic and artful.

The idea for this print actually started after a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where we had a chance to spend time with some incredible Indian miniatures. That experience really stayed with us. We were also hugely inspired by the Pahari paintings we saw at the Government Museum and Art Gallery in Chandigarh.

Bianca is block printed by hand, so you get all those subtle variations and that one-of-a-kind texture that machines just can’t replicate. It works just as well for drapery as it does for pillows or upholstery.
