Meet Ava - A Block Print Inspired by Chandigarh’s Architecture & winner of Luxe Red Awards

Our Ava Block Print may be small in scale, but it has a big story behind it.

The design is inspired by the beautiful brickwork found in the architecture of Chandigarh, the modernist city designed by Le Corbusier. We were drawn to the way simple and repeated patterns created something so striking and wanted to translate that feeling into fabric.

Ava features tiny triangles arranged in a neat, geometric layout. It’s clean and minimal, but still warm and handmade. It is block printed by skilled artisans, giving it subtle variations and a truly human touch.

Ava is one of those patterns that works just about anywhere - upholstery, pillows, drapery. It pairs beautifully with both bold prints and quiet neutrals.

Ava was recently named the winner of the Luxe RED Readers’ Choice Award for Textiles and Bespoke Fabrics, a recognition we’re incredibly proud of.

With two new colorways recently added, it will be exciting to see how designers are incorporating Ava into their projects in fresh, creative ways.

Sometimes the simplest patterns have the most to say, and Ava is one of those.
